Lyons Studio worked to create an aesthetics driven design for a young family in their home in a new building in Brooklyn. The existing elements of the unit helped lay a foundation for layering in color, texture and form to personalize and create interest in the space. It was important that all members of the family (including the kids) had input in the design and color stories. We also made sure the fabrics and finishes were durable while keeping design at the forefront. Custom millwork throughout incorporates much needed storage while furthering the design narrative. Extensive wall finishes and window coverings create a fully considered environment. A newly incorporated fireplace mantle and updated wet bar in the living space gives an entirely new look to the space.
